Attribution of material

The Source verticalI use work from other places on the web all the time. Please feel free to link to posts, to refer to arguments made here or to quote excerpts. All I ask is that you acknowledge the source (preferably with a link and a mention).

I’ll be doing the same, so if it’s clear that material found here came from somewhere else, please acknowledge that original source (perhaps with a ‘via Construction Sight‘ link).

Although, for the most part, I use my own images (photos that I’ve taken myself) – which is why they’re sometimes a bit random – occasionally I’ll Google for one that’s particularly relevant to the topic of a particular post. I try to get permission to do so from the copyright owner but it’s not always easy. If you spot an image that you own anywhere on this site, apologies. Please do get in touch and let me know if you’d prefer attribution or removal.

In the case of comments, it’s a teeny bit more complex. Although anyone commenting on a post here should know that their words are going on record in the public domain, please give special consideration to what you do with material taken from the comments sections.
